For the diagnosis of disease, screening research and identification of the causative agent a variety of biological materials may be used. The species identification of Leishmania is important not only for a choice of drugs for the treatment of disease, but for epidemiological studies, for identification of different ways of preventing it.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Метод полимеразной цепной реакции широко применяется в изучении различных аспектов лейшманиозов. Для диагностики заболевания, скрининговых исследований и идентификации возбудителя возможно использовать различные биологические материалы.
