1983-1989: Medical studies at the Medical Faculty, University of Nis, Serbia
Engaged in scientific researches.
Participated in the scientific conventions of medical and stomatological students of Yugoslavia.
1988-1990 Fellowship holder of the Republic Foundation for Scientific and Artistic development of Youth Republic of Serbia, Yugoslavia
1989 Medical Doctor’s (MD) degree, Medical Faculty, University of Nis, Yugoslavia
1990 Passed the professional examination for MD.
Employed at the Clinic of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Clinical Centre Nis
Started the postgraduate studies of gastroenterology and hepatology
1991 Started specialization in Internal medicine
1993 Obtained a certificate of the Yugoslav School of Ultrasound
Became a member of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL)
1995 Passed the specialist examination in Internal medicine with grade: excellent.
Finished the postgraduate studies and defended the M.S. dissertation: “The Importance of the biochemical, cytological and microbiological examination of the ascitic fluid in liver disease”.
