Organizing and overseeing the work of the editorial office in accordance with international publishing standards and ethical principles; ensuring compliance with publication ethics, transparency of editorial processes, and integrity of research reporting; planning and supervising the activities of all departments, including editorial, layout, design, marketing, and distribution, to ensure timely and high-quality publication of issues; managing staff recruitment, training, and professional development; coordinating the work of editors, proofreaders, designers, and technical specialists; conducting training programmes to enhance editors’ qualifications and fostering talent development among young researchers at the Sechenov University to ensure editorial continuity; organizing and conducting training sessions for young researchers on preparing articles for publication in the publisher's journals; organizing peer review and scientific evaluation of submitted manuscripts; overseeing biostatistical review and study design assessment within submitted research papers; scientific editing of the most complex manuscripts; ensuring compliance with copyright and licensing requirements; implementing digital publishing technologies, and open-access systems; representing the journal and the publishing centre at conferences, professional meetings, and other events; developing and strengthening the publisher’s brand, visibility, and scientific reputation; analysing citation metrics and introducing tools for monitoring and improving publication performance.
